Etienne Guillard is a pharmacist and holds a master’s degree in health and environmental research.
After a career between hospital pharmacy in France and humanitarian action, Etienne joined Solthis in 2007 to develop the strategy on strengthening pharmaceutical systems and supply chains in the countries of intervention of the organisation in West Africa.


In 2015, he took over the leadership of Strengthening Health Services and Systems where he continued to develop Solthis’ strategy in these areas to contribute to improving equitable access to quality health services. He also contributes to the development of new orientations including One Health from 2017.
