
Aziz OUAABI
Graduate of the ENSE3 Energie Environnement Eau engineering school in 2002, Aziz Ouaabi began his career as a project engineer quality on pumping installations in the field of energy (nuclear, thermal) and industry.

He then held the position of head of large hydropower offers on all types of development in France and abroad (Asia, Europe) with a specialisation in electricity storage by turbining-pumping. He was thus able to actively contribute to the Assembly and complete negotiation of new industrial projects as well as rehabilitation.
Aziz Ouaabi joined the CNR in 2008 to develop hydroelectric and river engineering. As Head of Business Development since 2011, he was responsible for development on behalf of third parties (France, international emerging countries) in engineering and consulting services, an activity including prospecting, strategy, financing and sales, but also direct and indirect management of associates.
In 2017, Aziz Ouaabi developed CNRS’ open innovation activity, in a direction of energy transition and innovation. His activity revolves around several missions: development of a varied external ecosystem that meets the strategic needs of the company; force of proposal on the strategy; project management and technical expertise or the transversal management of the company’s R&D activity (budgets, theses and CIR, support to structure projects); taking charge of the complete process of entering the capital of a young innovative company: fundraising and long-term support as a member of the strategic committee.
